The Aalto X-ray Scattering Center provides laboratory-scale X-ray scattering and diffraction capabilities for structural characterization of materials at the nanoscale (0.1–100 nm). Equipped with instruments including a Rigaku SmartLab diffractometer and a Xenocs Xeuss SAXS/WAXS system, the center supports studies of soft matter, functional materials, and nanostructures, as well as preparatory experiments for synchrotron beamtime applications.
