The Structural Biology Research Group at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) investigates the structure, function, and biotechnological applications of biological macromolecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. Using techniques including X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and FTIR, the group studies enzymatic systems involved in biomass conversion and other processes relevant to sustainable bio-based production.
