Facility Manager Workshops
Building bridges between research infrastructures requires us to connect the specialists who work at these infrastructures, to create an open and supportive network of facility managers, instrument technicians and support staff that might not otherwise ever meet.
Nordstruct Facility Manager Workshops bring the entire Nordic community of structural biology research infrastructure staff face-to-face. They provide a space where staff can discuss organisational models for infrastructure management, challenges when handling users, different career paths and opportunities for facility staff, procurement of new equipment, remote-access and data management, industry users and intellectual property rights, financial models and funding opportunities.
The NordStruct Facility Manager Workshops are held biannually and rotate location across the Nordic countries. The first Workshop will be held from February 9th – 10th, 2027 at LINXS in Lund. Registration will open in October 2026.
