The Cellular Biophysics research group at Tampere University investigates how mechanical forces and physical properties of the cellular environment regulate processes such as cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, and tissue development. The group focuses on mechanisms of force sensing and force transduction in cells to better understand how cellular mechanics influence physiological behaviour.
