Cryo-EM Uppsala provides end-to-end cryo-electron microscopy services for single-particle structural analysis, including sample vitrification, screening, high-resolution data collection, and computational image processing. The facility operates a 200 kV Thermo Fisher Glacios transmission electron microscope equipped with a Falcon 4i direct electron detector and Selectris energy filter, supported by a Vitrobot Mark IV for grid preparation and a local GPU cluster for real-time data processing, 3D reconstruction, and model building, alongside user training and project support.
