The X-ray Laboratory at the Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University, provides advanced X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence instrumentation for structural and compositional analysis of powders, bulk materials, and thin films. The facility operates multiple diffractometers (including Siemens D5000, Bruker D8 systems, Bruker Discover, and Philips MRD) and an Epsilon 3 EDXRF spectrometer, enabling techniques such as high-resolution powder diffraction, grazing incidence XRD, reciprocal space mapping, thin-film characterization, and in-situ temperature-dependent studies for both academic and external users.
