MAX IV Laboratory is a fourth-generation synchrotron facility in Lund, Sweden, providing highly brilliant X-rays from its 3 GeV multi-bend achromat storage ring for advanced structural biology research. Its structural biology infrastructure includes the BioMAX and MicroMAX macromolecular crystallography beamlines, supporting automated and high-throughput crystallography, microfocus and serial crystallography, time-resolved studies, complemented by dedicated sample-preparation/biolab facilities, high-performance computing, and the FragMAX fragment-based drug-discovery platform.
